Yadea has launched three new electric scooters — GS70, GT70 and GT80 — in Nepal, expanding its electric two-wheeler lineup with models targeting urban commuters, long-distance riders and premium scooter buyers.
The new scooters have been introduced by Kuzu Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the authorised distributor of Yadea in Nepal. The lineup brings different battery configurations, motor outputs, riding ranges and technology features aimed at catering to different riding requirements.
The Yadea GS70 is priced at Rs 2.30 lakh, while the GT80 and GT70 are priced at Rs 3.35 lakh and Rs 3.65 lakh, respectively.
The Yadae GS70 has been designed as an everyday electric scooter focused on urban mobility. It comes equipped with a 2.1 kWh LFP battery paired with a 2.8 kW peak motor, offering a claimed riding range of up to 105 km on a single charge.
The Yadea GT70 is positioned as a long-range electric scooter and features a 5.7 kWh dual LFP battery system, combining a 3.6 kWh fixed battery with a 2.1 kWh removable battery. It is powered by a 3.7 kW peak motor and offers a claimed riding range of up to 220 km on a single charge. The removable battery setup provides additional flexibility for charging.
At the top of the lineup, the Yadea GT80 comes with a 3.6 kWh lithium battery and a 5 kW peak motor. The premium electric scooter delivers a claimed top speed of 80 km/h and a riding range of up to 150 km, targeting riders looking for higher performance and premium features.
All three models come equipped with smart connectivity features, including Bluetooth connectivity, TFT smart display, mobile navigation mirroring, Yadea Smart App connectivity, family sharing functionality for up to five users and smart keyless features.
For safety, the GS70, GT70 and GT80 feature rider assistance technologies including Traction Control System (TCS), cruise control, hill hold control, hill descent control and dual-disc braking system. These features are designed to improve stability, braking performance and overall control across different riding conditions.
The newly launched GS70, GT70 and GT80 are available through 20 authorised dealerships across Nepal, with the company planning further expansion of its sales and service network in the coming months.The company is offering a battery warranty of 3 years or 50,000 km across all three models.
As part of the launch offer, the company is also providing an introductory discount of Rs 10,000 on all three models until the conclusion of the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
